Love Is According To Me
Since a very long time ago, we have searched for the meaning of love, but even the great philosophers, with their profound definitions, could not fully touch its true essence. According to the dictionary, the word "love" is back to roots of the English language. Old English lulu is related to Old Frisian luve, Old High German luba, Gothic lubo. Three is a cognate lolun early forms of the Scandinavian languages. The Indo- European root is also behind Latin lubet, it is "pleasing" and lubido "desire." The word is recorded from the earliest English writing in the eighth century. But what is exactly love? According to me, Love is beyond all description. Love is greater than what anyone can express, greater than which anyone can understand, or experience. Love is something we do, the sacrifices we make, the giving of self, like a mother bringing a newborn into the world. If we want to meet love, we have to meet those who sacrifice for others, even for the people who offend or do not love in return. If we are parents, we have to look at the love we have for our children we sacrificed for. Love is a value that is actualized through loving actions. Love is always fully expressed, by those who are the givers whenever Love is given, and its nature is quite fully known, by all who have feelings, whenever its presence is felt. According to me, that is love.
